What does John McCain understand that Eric Dondero will never, ever understand ?
Correct.
That being a member of the Republican Party is not enough.

Really? Wanna run that by me again. Let's see now. Every single Republican US Senator voted against ObamaCare. All 40 of them. Even Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins.
All 178 Repubs voted against ObamaCare in the House.
All, all but 1 single Republican voted against the Obama stimulus, Rep. Cao of LA, who has since changed his mind on that vote.
Cap & Trade, whatever the bill, ALL REPUBLICANS are hanging tough for Liberty.
Translation - Republican Party now equals the Libertarian Party.
Even the very squishiest of all Republicans are better than even the best Democrats.
Oh, and as for Kirk in Illinois, he was recommended to me by LIBERTARIAN PARTY OF ILLINOIS EXEC. COMM MEMBER Jeff Wartman who is active with his campaign. Jeff, btw, is a hardline purist Libertarian.
If Jeff Wartman, Member Libertarian Party of Illinois Exec. Comm. told me that Mark Kirk was worthy of my vote on Libertarian principles, I would check outside before I believed whether or not the sun was shining.
Do you not have the capacity to check out Rep. Kirk's voting record yourself ? What with all your internet proficiency, I would suspect that you can and still choose not to.
Rep. Kirk voted FOR Cap & Trade and Waxman-Markley, just to pick two pieces of anti-Liberty legislation.
Your belief that "even the very squishiest of all Republicans are better than even the best Democrats" is precisely what got us to where we are today.
By putting any Republican on the ticket we got 2006 and 2008.
Do you really believe that putting candidates with true Republic minded principles on the ballots in 2006 and 2008 things would be worse ?
Your saying that Republican Party = Libertarian Party does not make it so.
Before you cast your ballot in the upcoming General Elections please, get outside of your "Republican Party = Libertarian Party" echo chamber, meet some people that can think for themselves and do your own homework.
Your two comments here have only shown that you are indeed still seated squarely upon your shoulders !
