Chicago politics - coming to a State near you

Or is it already there ?

The Washington Post has this
A federal grand jury is investigating whether a financial firm improperly won more than $1.4 million in work for the state of New Mexico shortly after making contributions to political action committees of Gov. Bill Richardson (D).

There is so much more to this than at first blush. Obama has surrounded himself with this type of pol for so long that he doesn't even notice it anymore. But, this is change.

In the past several years of The Bush administration there have been allegations of such things. In Iraq. And now, about the George W. Bush Presidential Library. In nearly eight years.

We aren't even to the inauguration of The One and we already have the chief of staff and the Sec.Com. having cookie jars with their lids slightly ajar.

Change is gonna come

"Change" in the way that all those who support Obama did not expect or want IS coming. However, the "change", Obama kept stating over and over during his campaign is NOT coming as he continues to designate all of Clinton's appointees and his cronies from Illinois.

Yes.

But do not forget that when others see what you can "not be a party to" and still be appreciated by the masses, there will be little reason left to not piss on the people's trust.

See how well it works in IL ? The investigations didn't cause the "voters" of IL to find a better option and there is no reason to believe the arrests will matter either.
